YOU WANT A THERAPIST WHO GETS IT.
You need a therapist who sees you as a whole person, not just someone with a list of issues to work through. I’m here to keep it real—no scripted responses or disconnect between what you're going through and the support you receive.
Clients come to me because I get it. I’ve been in your shoes. I understand what it’s like to be an athlete facing mental blocks that hold you back, or to feel like you're stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, trying to prove your worth. I know the pressure of living in a world that demands constant performance and the fear that you're just not measuring up.
I’ve been there too. As a former level 10 gymnast, I know the unique pressures athletes face. But my work isn’t just about sports—it’s about helping anyone ready to break through barriers and create lasting change. Whether you're an athlete or someone simply looking to live with more confidence and clarity, I’m here to help you uncover your strength, both mentally and emotionally.
You’ll never hear me say anything I haven’t personally worked through. I’ve done the hard work of overcoming mental blocks, conquering perfectionism, and breaking free from burnout. And now, I’m here to help you do the same.
Therapy with me is not about following some rigid formula—it’s about working together to uncover the tools you need to thrive. We’ll use humor, metaphors, and relatable approaches to make this process feel real, comfortable, and you.
You’ll guide the pace of our work. The goal is simple: you’ll leave feeling understood, empowered, and ready to take the next step in your journey toward growth and healing.
Ready to break through? Let’s connect and get started.
Meet Bear, the 80-pound lover.
Bear is a Goldendoodle with a heart as big as his paws. He loves to play, nap, and give lots of licks (he’s very generous with them). He may be a bit shy at first, but give him a little time and some treats, and you’ll have a friend for life.
Bear will soon be in training to become a therapy dog THIS SPRING... if he can get over his fear of small children. And honestly, we get it—kids are eye-level, unpredictable, and really, really loud. But once he’s comfortable, he’s happy to show you just how sweet and playful he can be 🐾
My Approach to Therapy
I believe in therapy that feels real and accessible. My goal is to help you improve your mental health, ease your mental load, and reconnect with your life in a way that feels sustainable and true to who you are. We’ll use evidence-based techniques, but also plenty of humor and metaphor—because sometimes, a good laugh is exactly what the soul needs.
Here’s what you can expect when we work together:
-
Our pasts shape who we are today. Many of the behaviors, thought patterns, and reactions we have now are rooted in what helped us survive or navigate life in earlier years. The tricky part is, those survival strategies often stop working as we grow, and we’re left feeling stuck or overwhelmed. In our work together, we’ll dig into those old patterns, understand why they might have made sense then, and explore how we can shift them to work better for you now.
-
Change can be tough, especially when you’ve been stuck in old ways of thinking or acting for a long time. Often, we know what needs to change, but the tools aren’t always clear. That’s where I come in. We’ll work on creating achievable, value-aligned changes that feel right for you. And while progress is empowering, it’s also challenging. I’m here to offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to navigate both the emotional and practical sides of making those changes.
-
We often try to control things outside of our reach in an effort to feel at peace, but this only leads to frustration and burnout. We’ll work together to identify what’s in your control and how to focus your energy where it counts, while also letting go of the things that just aren’t yours to manage. You’ll learn to feel more empowered by the things you can control, and less weighed down by the rest.
-
For many of us, especially athletes and parents, it’s easy to lose track of our personal values and desires in the hustle of life. You’ve spent so much energy caring for others or chasing goals that you might feel like you’ve forgotten who you are outside of those roles. In therapy, we’ll take the time to get clear on what truly matters to you—your needs, desires, and identity—so you can start living a life aligned with your own values.

We can’t ignore the impact our bodies have on our minds, or vice versa. Research continues to show just how intertwined physical and mental health really are. That’s why I incorporate mindfulness techniques and body awareness into our work. By connecting with your body, we can unlock deeper insights into your emotions, and develop coping skills that not only make sense mentally, but feel better physically, too.
-
I use evidence-based approaches to help you create meaningful, lasting change. My work combines proven methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Strategic Therapy, and Family Systems Theory. These techniques are grounded in scientific research and designed to transform your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, empowering you to reach your goals and move forward with confidence.

When I’m not working, I make sure to prioritize my mental and physical well-being. I love spending time with Bear, my adorable Goldendoodle, who’s always by my side. On weekends, I love unwinding with friends and family, getting lost in psychological thrillers, and checking out local coffee shops and breweries with my husband.
