Please note that I am currently out-of-network with all insurance providers, which means that payment for all services rendered will be due out-of-pocket at the time of your appointment.
However, I want to make it clear that I do accept Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) as well as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) to provide you with added convenience in managing your payments and financial responsibilities.
However, if you'd like, I can provide you with a monthly Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
-
A Superbill is a document made for insurance companies that details the services a therapist or health care provider performed for a client. Essentially, it’s a receipt for your visit to the doctor’s office, but unlike traditional receipts, Superbills contain vital information, like diagnosis and procedure codes, needed for insurance payers to reimburse you for the services after you’ve paid. They're different from regular medical bills in that insurers use them to pay patients rather than providers.

Yes, I offer in-person sessions on Thursdays at a rented office space near Highway 494 and Highway 7 in Minnetonka, MN. Please note that in-person appointments are in high demand, and I cannot guarantee a recurring session time if you choose this option. Additionally, my therapy dog, Bear, is present during in-person sessions on Thursdays. Bear is in therapy dog training and he provides comfort and support during our sessions. If you have allergies or are uncomfortable around dogs, please consider scheduling Telehealth sessions instead.
From Monday to Wednesday, I see clients exclusively via Telehealth using SimplePractice, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. This ensures your privacy and confidentiality throughout our virtual sessions.

Yes, I offer EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is a powerful therapeutic approach that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic memories, anxiety, PTSD, and other emotional distress. It works by using bilateral stimulation (usually through guided eye movements) to help the brain reprocess and integrate disturbing memories, reducing their emotional charge.
EMDR has been shown to be incredibly effective not just for trauma survivors, but for anyone struggling with stress, anxiety, or unprocessed emotions. It can help improve overall emotional regulation, reduce negative thought patterns, and increase self-esteem, making it a helpful tool for a wide range of mental health challenges.
If you or someone you know is interested in exploring EMDR therapy, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. For more information about what EMDR is and how it works, I encourage you to visit this website.

The length of therapy depends on your unique needs and goals. It could be short-term, lasting only a few sessions, or longer-term, extending over several months or more. I encourage you to share your preferences with me, and together we can create a plan that aligns with what works best for you.

It’s completely normal to feel "off" at times or sense that you’re not living up to your fullest potential. If you're experiencing this, I’d be happy to work with you to explore what’s going on and collaborate on setting meaningful therapy goals that can help you move forward.
